This little doll came to see me here in La Grange at the studio and for an outside shoot all the way from Austin. This was her second shoot with me, and she is getting so big and animated! This is my 4th session with this adorable little guy. I must say, it never fails that Mom and Dad have me cracking up the whole time we are shooting. This particular day was miserably hot (even at 10am) and none of us were enjoying it. I had my oldest son with me (in from La Grange to Austin for this shoot) and he braved the heat with me and the G family… Thanks again for being such great clients!

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and watched as it became a huge city. It is simply NOT the place it used to be when I was a kid. Things are just not as easy as they were back then. A simple trip to karate class consumed about 2 hours of a day, when it should have been a 5 minute drive there and 5 minutes back. The grocery store was ALWAYS a mad house – making it a nightmare to take small children with you, let alone attempt to make an emergency Sunday run for dinner. HERE is different. Calm. Some might say slow; but for me, it’s just what I needed. It is so refreshing to get a smile and a wave from the people you see everyday. While I have only been here a month so far, I can tell that I will like it here just fine.
A few shots of my clan since it has been a while since I’ve done so. These are not the “house” pics I have promised, but just random shots I sneaked while getting settled in. I promise I will get some great shots of the new abode when time permits.

AND THIS, my friends, is our pot belly pig “Piper”. She used to fit in the palm of my hand, and now I cannot even lift her anymore…
